Before commiting to any Seo Services try to vet the company and make sure they are not out to rip you off:

What seo results have they produced, and can they prove it?

It is quite easy to check out, just email some of their customers and check they were really satisfied.

Some seo companies dont go down the route of natural organic methods, some companies use blackhat methods or just put some of your fee into pay per click. This of course is no use to you and you might as well cut out the middle man and do it yourself if ppc is what you want.

Shop around for different SEO prices.

Look at the details from each quote. Are they offering the same services? Quotes help to weed out the good from the chaff, and can alert you if your buying something you dont really want.

Look at the price. Cheap is not always the way to go, but sometimes cheap is good.

Do they tie you into a contract?

Make sure you get an email or in writing, the full details. Many customers tell me that they did not realise until it was too late that they had just agreed a 6 month contract.

The best advice is too gain a bit of seo knowledge so you cannot be baffled with seo science. Any company that is offering a good seo service would never shy away from explaining how they get results. If your not happy with the answers or methodology then keep looking.
